Hiding Assets

Some people will try to hide assets to prevent them from being taken in a lawsuit, hoping to render your judgment useless, and often they are successful. Hidden assets can include property, bank accounts, or luxury items. People will often transfer the title to a close relative or an in-law that they trust (it may be helpful to know the maiden name of the wife). Because the asset is no longer in the defendant’s name, it is hard to prove that they own it. If the defendant has a lot of real estates, they may have used quick claim deeds to move the property to someone else’s name. Check your county records.

If the debtor that owes you money is hiding their assets to keep debt collection at bay, it is CLEARLY time to call the creditors’ rights attorneys at Marcadis Singer PA.  Hidden Assets?  no problem.  Collecting against a judgment – We Got This!.
