Jonathan Hempfling is a partner in Marcadis Singer with a practice focused on consumer and commercial litigation and dispute resolution. Many of his cases involve consumer/commercial lending, contracts, commercial landlord and tenant disagreements, commercial litigation, and business disputes.  He also focuses on post-judgment recovery through proceeding supplementary and fraudulent conveyance, where he has successfully recovered millions of dollars for clients.    Jonathan has successfully litigated cases through trial throughout the State of Florida. 

Jonathan graduated the University of South Florida in 2006 and received his J.D. from the Stetson University College of Law in 2010. After becoming a member of the Florida Bar in 2011, he began his career at Marcadis Singer.

Jonathan is a member of the Florida Bar, the Commercial Law League of America, and the Florida Creditors Bar Association, where he has served as a board member. He also speaks to trade groups on Florida commercial collection and litigation.

Jonathan is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts as well as the United States District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.

Jonathan has attained the Judicial Edition of Martindale-Hubbell’s AV Preeminent Rating, which represents the highest rating possible that an attorney can attain. The rating is based on confidential opinions of lawyers and judges. The “A” corresponds to the lawyer’s legal ability, experience and qualifications. The “V” corresponds to the lawyer’s adherence to professional standards of conduct, ethics, reliability and diligence.
