Liens on Real Estate when Domesticating a Foreign Judgment
A lien on real estate in any county is constituted only when (a) a certified copy of the judgment and (b) a copy of the clerk’s certificate or order acknowledging the out-of-country foreign judgment have been published in the county’s official records. The priority of such a lien will be determined as of the date of the second of the two recordings.
