In the wake of the tragic shooting in Orlando, local attorneys are mobilizing to offer what help they can for the victims, families, and survivors of the Orlando Pulse Club terrorism attack.
The Orange County Bar Association has setup a hotline for victims and and families using their existing Lawyer Referral Hotline. The Orange County Bar already has at least 30 attorneys that have come forward to offer help. According the NPR, attorneys have managed to get emergency visas for family to come make final arrangements. THere are offeres for free handling of probate cases.
Blood drives are also happening in attorney’s offices around the state.
We applaud all those who are coming together in the face of this tragedy. There is no room in our society for tolerance of terrorism. It is rewarding to see our community, and our legal community, coalesce around this horrific event for the benefit of the families and victims.
